I began this blog as a way to promote my prose writing. Then, I decided to try my hand at writing a romance novel, give the people what they wanted. A friend told me the fastest selling genre was graphic fiction, basically literary porn. I wanted an opportunity to earn a living with my writing, so I stooped to the lowest common denominator of catering to these empty delights. However, I'm not able to indulge the senses in this way anymore. I want to be used as an instrument for dispersing light and love into the world, not for promoting selfish gratification. The more we circum to our natural tendencies to turn inward and seek our own personal pleasure and stimulation, the less we look to the interests of others, the less we care about those who are in need, the less we from communal bonds and lose ourselves to the demands of loneliness and isolation. Therefore, I commit myself to using this blog as means of reaching out to others, sharing their fear, anger, and distress, dispensing hope to those who are hurting, and reflecting truth into the lives of all who will listen.
